Right now, the City of Los Angeles is undertaking a rezoning process that will have long-term and far-reaching impacts across the city for decades to come. The City Planning Department has produced four draft ordinances that make up this process.
The ACT-LA coalition was hard at work this year, transforming LA's housing and public transit systems to be more just, equitable, and sustainable.
Over the last few months, we have been meeting with our (now) 45 member organizations to envision the outcomes needed in the next five years for Los Angeles to become more equitable and just. These outcomes were collected into a five-year strategic plan for 2024-2028.
