Alison Vu

Communications Manager

Alison Vu serves as ACT-LA’s Communications Manager, where she works to amplify ACT-LA’s coalition and member work to a broad audience across Los Angeles. In her previous roles, she worked in both the marketing-communications sphere, as well as fundraising, in homelessness services, feminist organizing, feminist media, and civil rights. Alison is a lifelong Southern California resident, and has made Santa Monica, the South Bay, and various cities in Orange County her home. She holds a B.A. in Criminology from the University of California, Irvine—focusing on constitutional law and the criminalization of poverty.
