Scarlett De Leon
Scarlett De Leon serves as ACT-LA’s Campaigns Director where she oversees the coalition’s transit and housing justice campaigns. She has a decade of experience in community organizing and advocacy, particularly focused on low wage industry workers, transit justice and accessible housing issues. She previously held positions as a Worker Advocate, Political Organizer, and Director of Workplace Campaigns at the Koreatown Immigrant Workers Alliance. Scarlett was raised in Koreatown, Los Angeles, from a working class-first generation Guatemalan family. Through her personal and professional experiences she recognizes that we all deserve a living wage, affordable housing and healthy green communities. She is committed to continuing to dedicate her professional career towards achieving this.
